Supernote Sleeve & Folio
Supernote AU approached Corban & Blair to develop premium leather accessories for their two digital notebooks 'Manta' and 'Nomad'. The brief emphasised local manufacturing, thoughtful material selection, and designing a sleeve that seamlessly complemented the devices. With Supernote AU's European counterpart having already created a solution tailored to its regional market, the goal was to develop a similarly considered product for Australia.
The result is a minimal, protective sleeve in two sizes, produced in Corban & Blair's Sydney workshop. The main body is made from 100% pure wool felt, manufactured in Germany using Australian and South African wool. It features a cut-out for the device's integrated pen holder loop. Genuine leather from New Zealand is used for the front pocket, providing storage for notes and cables, and also serves as a secondary pen holder.
The collaboration was a success, leading to the development of the Nomad Artisan Folio. Supernote AU identified the need for a more premium alternative to the standard folio supplied with its smaller Nomad device. The result combines Supernote's official Folio Kit with the same premium New Zealand leather used in the previous collaboration. Integrated magnets, leather-bound cover plates, a secure elastic closure, and a dedicated leather pen holder come together to create a refined, durable folio.
