Cherish: Bike Rack
Cherish is a Class C bike rack and public seating, created for use at light rail stations and high streets around Sydney’s CBD. It was designed with consideration to sustainability, innovation and multifunctionality.
It uses Replas’ Polyrock concrete for the seat which uses a recycled plastic aggregate consisting of 95% post-consumer soft plastic waste with 5% engineered recycled content.
Hidden lighting underneath every Cherish module illuminates the footpath around it during the night to help with navigation and wayfinding.
